Sunday August 11th is the day to arrive. You can arrive anytime 2pm onwards and check into your accommodations. You are welcome to take a hike, explore the campus, rest, etc. The first official scheduled event will be dinner together at 6pm, followed by an opening circle, orientation and kīrtan. 

On the last day, Sunday August 18th, we will have morning practice and a closing circle followed by brunch around 9:30 am. After that, guests will pack-up, check-out, and begin their travel home. 

We can accommodate a non-participant spouse/partner/family member on a space available basis. Write to us if this is your desire. 

• We recommend that you pay for your own participant spot in full to secure your preferred lodging, and then reach out to us. There will be a fee for the extra person, though they will not pay full tuition fees as they will not be participating in the training. The amount of the extra fee will depend on the type of accommodations you are reserving. Please reach out to us to pay for your extra person. email [email protected]

Yes. If you are booking a Guest House or Yurt spot, then email us with the names of your desired roommates(s).

Note: Guest House Rooms may have 3 people total, so be prepared that you might have 2 roommates. If you don't specify roommate(s), we will pair someone with you.

Yes. Although most of the training will be a continuation of what we’ve already learned in our Harmonium Magic Courses, there will be breakout groups for beginners. We recommend that anyone coming to the retreat at least get through Harmonium Magic 101.

The nearest regional airport is in Alamosa, CO, which is about 1 hour south of Crestone. You will need to arrange ground transportation (car rental or taxi/shuttle service) to get from Alamosa to Crestone.

There are also major airports in Colorado Springs (3 hours), Denver (4 hours) and Albuquerque (5 hours). There is a daily bus service between Denver and Alamosa, which stops in Moffat. You can use the local taxi/shuttle services to get from Moffat to Crestone (25 minutes).

Cancellation Policy

$300 of the initial payment is nonrefundable. The remaining balance is refundable until 90 days before the event. If canceling under 90 days before the event begins, 50% is non-refundable and the remaining 50% is transferable to a Sacred Sound Lab offering, online or in-person. If canceling within 30 days of the retreat, payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. 

There will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illness. 

If you wish to cancel your retreat you must notify Sacred Sound Lab in writing via email at [email protected].

All participants are strongly encouraged to purchase and maintain travel/trip insurance during the entire length of the Retreat (including through their return date). We recommend you purchase a comprehensive “Cancel for Any Reason” policy. In the event you are ill and cannot attend your retreat, or for any other reason that you can’t attend, you will need to submit a claim to your trip insurance company for reimbursement (reimbursement subject to the approval/terms of your specific policy).
